Personally, I think the hours I spend on Pinterest, Twitter, and teacher blogs should count as professional development. ;)
Here's a cool opportunity to learn about creation apps through itunes. They do many of these "itunes U's," but this one is specifically for creation apps for teachers and students. It's basically professional development at your pace, on your iphone, ipad, ipod, laptop, etc. Not sure it help you get PD hours through the district, but it might be worth asking about. ;)
